The first picts were taken a week ago during a cool storm. It has been raining the past few days every evening! Global Warming?? or is it the ice age?
Actually, it is just a typical monsoon season but a little more rain than normal and literally 500% more rain than last years 1 day of rain!
Beautiful clouds
These were taken from my window inside the house. It was too scary to go outside. As you will see in the video below it was continually lightning and thundering nonstop.
I took literally 400 pictures just to get these few good ones. Thank goodness for digital, my remote, tripod and my awesome SLR!
You have to turn up your volume and listen to the thunder continually rumbling! It was like this for an entire scary hour of craziness.

You are brave being out in the storm....I stay inside when there is lightning and close everything so I can't see it! I am a chicken I know....cool pics though. The pics turned out GREAT by the way, I sent one up to my parents in an 8 by 10!
cool pictures. I was going to call you but procrastinated and didn't. I laughed when I got your text. It was funny just because of the storms we had just had too. So I know what you mean. We had horrible storms go through that same night, ours lasted about 4-5 hours though. We couldn't sleep around 2ish because the lightning was litterally constant and thunder and penny sized hail that was pounding against the windows, plus the wind! it was crazy! I always worry about tornadoes. We don't always get to see the lightning bolts across the sky like you because the clouds are lower and it's always in the clouds more.
